The basics

Each of the 8 players drafted 6 countries. A country earns points for its owner in every match it plays — win big, score often.

+8group win
+4group tie
+1per goal

Knockout wins climb

  • Round of 32 win+16
  • Round of 16 win+24
  • Quarterfinal win+32
  • Semifinal win+40
  • Final win+48

Goals are still worth 1 point each in every knockout round.

Fine print

  • Goals count in regulation and extra time. Penalty-shootout kicks are not goals.
  • A knockout match decided by shootout still pays the full win points to the shootout winner.
  • There are no ties in the knockout rounds — tie points exist in the group stage only.
  • The third-place match awards nothing: no win points, no goal points.
  • Scores come from ESPN and refresh about once a minute during matches.
